last qualifying position. Those who did not qualify for the main event in their class, will receive 0 points for that race.
All amateur classes have 1 throw away race. The rider does not choose the points to be thrown
out, the lowest points are automatically deducted. have a throw away.
In the event of an end of the year tie in total points, the tie will
be broken by determining which rider had the higher number of 1st place finishes for the series. If a tie still exists, the
number of 2nd place finishes for the series will be used and so forth until the tie is resolved. ARQA Board Members will make
determination if needed.
9. Heat races are run in order to determine the line-up order for the main
event. (Ex: A rider with a 1st place finish in the heat will have first pick to line up for the main.) If there are 10 or
more racers signed up in a class, that class would be divided into multiple heats. Each heat will be timed based on the finish
time of the 1st place rider. In the case of multiple heats, line-up order for the main race will be determined in the following
manner: If there are two heats: The 1st place finisher in the fastest heat will get first line up pick; The 1st place finisher
of the second fastest heat will get second line-up pick; The 2nd place finisher of the fastest heat will get third line-up
pick.
The 2nd place finisher of the second fastest heat will get fourth line-up
pick; etc.
10. Racers that DNF in the heat race will receive last pick in the main
race line-up.

any racer acting inappropriately. Racers will respect the decision of the Start Official without argument.
12. If a racer jumps the start, he/she will be moved to the penalty line
to start.
13. The following items will be inspected before the start of the race by
the Inspection Officer. Any racer not meeting these requirements WILL NOT be allowed to race. A. Number plates are REQUIRED
on both front bumper and rear grab bar of each quad. Remember, if your number cannot be read, you will not be scored. At race
registration, to prevent number duplication, quad numbers will be accepted first come first serve,
Helmets and boots are required of all racers. IF boots are tie
they must be double knotted and excess string placed inside the boots. LONG pants and Long- sleeved shirt adviced.
Chest protectors, racing pants, and goggles are highly recommended. A tether

must be in working order Nerf bars are also required.

to pass you. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. The rider is signaled with a blue
flag.

or they may be disqualified or dropped back one full lap.
16. Riders must finish a heat on the same quad which they began the race.
The use of 2 or more quads in one heat or moto is not permitted. However, a second quad may be used for additional heat races
if needed, as long as the second quad meets the track and race requirements as determined by the inspection officer. The point
of this rule is that the same quad, which lines up at the gate is the same quad, which must cross the finish line.
17. Each rider must memorize the color and function of each flag. Green signals that the race is in progress. Yellow signals that the racer
should take caution. This is usually used in a particular section of the track when an accident has occurred.
Red will be used to stop the race. If the red flag comes out and the leader has not yet completed one half of the total
laps, the race will be restarted. If the leader has completed at least one half of the required laps when the red flag is
waved, the race is over. Black is waved at an individual rider to signal him to pull off the track. White is a courtesy flag
which signals that the rider is beginning his last lap. Blue signals a lapped rider. The rider
should move over to let the faster riders pass. The checkered flag means that the race is over.
18. The race promoter will determine how many laps are to be run by each
class.
19. Those entering the Expert classes must stay in the expert classes for
the remainder of the series unless permission is given by the race promoter/ARQA Board. Those in other classes may switch
to another class at future races if their quad meets class restrictions, but POINTS WILL NOT TRANSFER Expert
riders have NO throw-away races
20. Points cannot, under any circumstance, be carried from on class to another.
21. The race promoter /ARQA Board has the authority to force a rider up
to a more advanced class if it is felt that the rider is too advanced for his current class.

procedures should be taken to sign-up IN WRITTING, or to an ARQA Board Member - DO NOT BOTHER THE OTHER STAFF MEMBERS
WITH THESE MATTERS.

the series. $100 will be returned to protester and $50 will be paid to mechanic.
